Article summary

Fear is kind of a disease to our lives. Fear of losing the beloved ones and valued things… fear of losing our own self… fear too comes out in the form of anger in life.

It is the fear of losing the comfort zone makes us more fear. Think about the greatest fears of your life. It should be definitely related something which you attached.

May be you are fear of losing your loved ones… may be your favorite things… or status… or it can be fear of losing your hands or any other body parts… or fear of death… all these fear related to the feeling of “Self”.

Nirvana Dhamma FearFear begin with our own self and spread vastly with many subjects. You might be fighting with your neighbor for the sake of you love. But when it comes to your area you might get together with your neighbor and fight with the threat to save the things you love.

Likewise our fear of losing things we like or love make us fight with each other and same time it make us to united to fight with the common enemy. All these things just because of the fear.

In the bottom level of fear, you & I just like to save the “I”. So the fear of losing “I” bring all the troubles. Even a sudden noise can make us fear… even the darkness can make us fear… even a tiny rope can make us fear by misunderstanding as it’s a snake…

So fear is kind of a diseases. It shock us… it cause us suffer… it cause loads of pain… its spread with the ego… So, understanding our own self cause to get rid from the fear too.

That’s why it’s important to become a fearless one with the wisdom.

 

How the law of impermanence related to this emotion?

Fear arise… it decays and ends… when you are in fear again the law of impermanency helps to get out of the fear… Everything arise has to decay and destroy at the end.  

That applies to the fear as well. 

Because of this law of impermanency we are able to get rid from the fear permanently through the understanding of Dhamma too.  Imagine what happen if the fear is permanent? 

So, the law of impermanency seems to bring lot more good things than the bad things to life.  Then why this nature identified as a pessimistic nature? Why it is badly treated in Buddhism?

So where we got wrong?  What we are missing?
