If begin with an example, each religion has a final destination… the ultimate fruit for its disciples.

The Catholic or Christians explain their final destination, the final attainment as the “Heaven” to meet the almighty God after the death.

In Islam they says their final destination, the final attainment is to meet the Great God Allah after the death.

In Hinduism they says their final destination, the final attainment is “Moksha” the meeting of Great Brahma after the death.

These are just few main popular religions we have in this world and there are many like these and each one has their own specialty and their own final destination - the final attainment. Of course there should be something as final result which is higher than the ordinary situation. That’s what we expect from a practice or believe which we follow… isn’t it?

But most of these religion promise the final attainment after the death. And each religion ask us to be good according to the religious teachings and the final attainment will be with us after the death.

So, what can be the final destination, the final attainment explain in Buddhism?

That’s the Enlightenment also named as The Awakening / Nirvãna / Nibbãna. Buddhism gives the guidance to experience this final attainment. But…

Yes, BUT… there is a specialty to be noted! The Buddhism doesn’t promise you this final attainment after the death. In fact Buddhism doesn’t promise you anything at all…  it just explain if you do this the result will be this… it shows the cause & effect and explain when there is no cause there is no result as well…

It provides the guidance, the path for those who willing to search themselves by their own. No one is there to order or there is no rules… When the path itself is cool the final attainment also should be cool isn’t it!

And the best part is in Buddhism, this coolness is possible to experience from the beginning till the final attainment… Yes, it is possible to experience in this life time itself!
